“In 2002-2004, we set up our Newport Office Center 1 (10,000 sq. ft.). We tried to manage it ourselves and we went through several managers. We also tried two other management companies. Eventually, in July 2004, we were referred to ESDI! Since then we have added NOC 2 (12,000 sq. ft.) in 2006 and NOC 3 (17,000 sq.ft.) in 2008. We have also added Torrance Office Center (40,000 sq. ft.) in 2009. All have been under ESDI management. In 2008, during the Great Recession, ESDI still managed to lease out NOC 3 and shows full occupancy currently. In the last 4 months of 2009, during even tougher times, TOC is now over 35% leased and showing steady weekly improvements.
